Why Books are Thoughtful Gifts

The holiday season is upon us and everywhere you turn you get bombarded with ads and jingles urging you to buy this electronic gizmo or that car (really) or some sort of jewelry.  
But what if you'd like to  give a gift that has imagination, humor or adventure (or all three)? 

Buy a book!
 
Because books : 

1. Are easy to wrap 
2. Can be enjoyed longer than latte and lower in calories
3. Can be enjoyed more than once - a gift that keeps on giving
4. Are unique - there is a book to appeal to everyone, even the person who has "everything"
5. Are  easy to buy -- you can even gift ebooks on Smashwords.com
